The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer – it’s time to start thinking about spring décor and make plans to enjoy the new season! A beautiful spring tablescape is a great way to celebrate special moments or just transform your day. In this blog post, I’ll be sharing some inspiration to help you create a gorgeous tablescape using beautiful linens, florals, and pretty tea server ware.
This particular tablecloth is made of Hungarian-inspired motif in a beautiful blue hue. The design is just perfect for spring! For the florals, I used a mix of tulips, roses, and greenery. The different shades of the flowers look great together. I was so happy to find these Peony Tulips Trader Joe’s. Aren’t they beautiful?
Creating a beautiful tablescape is all about choosing the right colors and textures. For spring, I love using blue pastel linens and florals in shades of pink, and white. Adding some greenery to the mix is also a great way to add some freshness to your décor. The table linen for this tablescape is from Julia Brendel fabrics. She has the most gorgeous linens that she designs herself.
The tea set is from Sri Lanka and was a wedding present from my uncle. Sri Lankans enjoy drinking tea and it is a big part of their day. Black tea with cream and sugar is the preferred way to make tea. It’s best to use fabrics, florals and china that complement each other. If you aren’t sure if everything goes together try placing all the items together before setting up the table and it will give you a preview that might help save some time and effort.
To finish off the look, I added some mercury glass votive candles from Pottery Barn. I just love how they add a touch of glamour to the table!
So there you have it – a beautiful spring tablescape that is sure to impress your guests! We hope you enjoyed this blog post and feel inspired to create your own spring tablescape. Happy decorating!
